New Programs at RU!

Recycle Utah is once again accepting bicycle tires and inner tubes. In the landfill, inner tubes and tires don’t bio-degrade and they are a nuisance. Separate your old bicycle tires and tubes from their bike rims and bring them to the Wodbine center.

Recycle Utah now participates in the Nike Reuse a Shoe program and Croc's Soles United program. Nike Athletic footwear is accepted in bins in the ReStore warehouse. Crocs Shoes are collected in a bag in the ReStore warehouse. The shoes are sent back to Crocs where they are re-distributed around the world to people in need.

Some more new collection programs at RU - cookie wrappers, energy bar wrappers, drink pouches, child car seats. Some recyclables you may have forgotten about. We accept: CD’s, acrylic CD cases, alkaline & rechargeable batteries, mercury thermometers and thermostats, printer cartridges, CFL lightbulbs and long fluorescent bulbs and tyvex mailing envelopes. Moving Boxes, E-waste, Hazardous Waste, and Medicines.
