WHY IS "LAWN" A FOUR-LETTER WORD?
TOPIC OF FREE WORKSHOP THURSDAY, AUGUST 14TH
Is the cost of water rising faster than the cost of gasoline? Will water rationing be a way of the future? Why is "lawn" a four-letter word? What do landscapers really recommend?
These questions will be answered at a free public seminar entitled "Lawn is a Four-Letter Word" to be held Thursday, August 14 from 2:30 to 5 pm at the Sheldon Richins County Building in Kimball Junction. Designed primarily for homeowner's associations, property managers, and their landscapers, this workshop will address the urgent need to find alternatives to the water-needy turf that dominates so many condominium landscapes in Park City. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picture of a lawn or grassy area they wish to address. To make a reservation for the free program, contact the Park City Board of Realtors at 200-6900.
