Summit County Landfill

When you bring your trash to the curb, where does it go? The Summit County landfill takes residential municipal solid waste, green waste, and hazardous waste from Summit County residents. There are also programs for cardboard, metal, and electronics recycling on site. You’ll learn about landfill cell construction and planning as well as leachate collection and monitoring.

Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District

Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District provides state-of-the-art wastewater collection and reclamation services for the greater Park City area. The District provides the wastewater collection and reclamation services to western Summit County (Snyderville Basin) which includes Park City. SBWRD collects wastewater from 13,000 +/- homes and businesses in the area.
