Commercial Memberships guarantee support for Recycle Utah.
In exchange, we help your business reach its sustainability goals.
Recycle Utah accepts everything from everyday recyclables to hard-to-process materials—but handling this material requires staff time, equipment, and responsible processing. Since our operations are funded by community donations rather than tax dollars, we rely on commercial users to help cover the cost we pay to recycle your material.
Beginning in 2026, our long-standing “Bin Sponsorship” program is transitioning to a Commercial Membership Program, reflecting what this payment truly is: An annual user fee that supports the cost of processing commercial material. This annual fee helps ensure ongoing access to the facility and supports the services we provide.

Part of this change is to prepare for upcoming diversion requirements from Park City beginning later this year. As those requirements roll out, Recycle Utah will offer to track and report material flows on your behalf to support compliance and streamline the process for your business.
