Upcoming Event

July Green Drinks

Deer Meadows Ranch, 1000 E Weber Canyon Rd Oakley, UT 84055

July 14, 6-8 PM

Join us to learn about Utah’s new Community Clean Energy Program and other renewable energy initiatives across the state.

July Green Drinks will cover renewable energy initiatives in our communities and across the state. Join us for a bring-your-own food & drink picnic at Deer Meadows Ranch in Oakley! This event is free, but registration is required. This event is 21+. Please consider carpooling!

Emily Quinton from Summit County will discuss the Community Clean Energy Program, a partnership of the Utah Renewable Communities and Rocky Mountain Power, to build a stable, reliable energy future for Utah. The program, which will launch in early 2027, provides households and businesses within participating communities the choice to support new utility-scale clean energy through their Rocky Mountain Power bill.

Jennifer Eden from Utah Clean Energy will speak about the status of solar energy opportunities in Utah from Utah Renewable Communities, to rooftop solar, to Utah leading the nation with first-of-its-kind legislation legalizing plug-in solar.

This event is 21+. No food or drink will be provided; bring your own chair or blanket, food, and drinks.
