Since 1990, Recycle Utah has grown from a few bins in a parking lot to a thriving community hub. Today, we:
Every program exists to give Park City the knowledge, tools, and inspiration to protect the place we all love.
We’re aiming for 750 unique donors this year. Support community sustainability by donating as little as $5 today!
Come celebrate Live PC Give PC with us! Join us for a party at LOMA with Mountain Towns 2030 on November 7th from 6-8:30 pm.
Check out what we accomplished this year!

Save yourself a trip to the landfill and take advantage of Dumpster Days!
Dumpster Days at Recycle Utah will be held on April 30th – May 2nd from 9 am – 4 pm.
Two large bins will be placed in the Munchkin parking lot for garbage and yard waste.
Summit County residential waste only. Businesses will be turned away and yes, we know if you are a business!
Recycle Utah requests that patrons only use the dumpsters during designated drop-off hours. Volunteers will be available to assist you. No overnight dumping.
The following items are NOT accepted during Dumpster Days: mattresses, tires, refrigerators, and hazardous materials. To learn how to dispose of these items, go here.
Call for volunteers! Email outreach@recycleutah.org if you’d like to volunteer for Dumpster Days.

Come tour Wasatch Resource Recovery with Recycle Utah! Learn about Utah’s first and only anaerobic digester facility. Please carpool if possible. We will meet at Recycle Utah at 8:30 to leave for the facility tour.
Wasatch Resource Recovery is Utah’s first and only anaerobic digester dedicated to food waste diversion. The facility processes organic waste which includes food scraps, liquid waste and manufacturing food waste. The process will turn the organic matter into sustainable resources –– biogas and bio-based fertilizer.
Your business or organization can divert packaged and/or unpackaged food waste, including prepared food, fruit, vegetables, meat, and dairy, as well as fats, oils & grease (F.O.G.) and other liquids. Due to the fact that Wasatch Resource Recovery is not a waste hauler, they work directly with your current hauler, or hauler of your choice, to divert your organic wastes to the digester. Diverting your food waste from the landfill to Wasatch Resource Recovery can result in cost savings and long-term risk management, as well as significant environmental benefits.
WRR can process food waste from restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, caterers, breweries, food processing-manufacturing plants, cafeterias, hospitals, schools, universities, glass bottled / aluminum canned / plastic bottled beverage sellers or distributors, etc.
