Recycling Collection in Coalville

Join Recycle Utah for a free recycling collection event in Coalville on March 8 from 10 am – 2 pm. Recycling will be collected in the Ledges Parking Lot at 202 Park Rd, Coalville, UT 84107.

We will be collecting the following materials:

  • Cardboard
  • Plastics
  • Batteries
  • Electronic Waste

Recycle your materials for free and learn about recycling resources in Summit County. Share your input about future recycling collaboration with Recycle Utah in Coalville.

Sustainability Workshop

Join Recycle Utah and Summit Community Gardens EATS for a sustainability workshop on April 23rd at 4:00 pm. We will be answering questions and providing tips on how to start your own compost, what you can and cannot recycle, and how to reduce plastic in your life. This event is free for all ages.

This event will be held at the Park City Library (1255 Park Ave, Park City, UT 84060) in the Community Room.

March Green Drinks

Join us for March Green Drinks at Red Flower Studios, where we’ll dive into the future of transportation, mobility, and sustainability! We’ll hear from Kevin Staples from SLC Airport, who will shed light on the challenges and innovations shaping greener air travel.

We’ll also hear from Park City Municipal’s transportation leaders, Tim Sanderson and Alex Roy, as they provide updates on key transit, biking, and pedestrian projects that are shaping the future of mobility in our community. Whether you’re curious about upcoming transit improvements, sustainable commuting options, or greener transportation in general, this is the perfect chance to learn more about the future of sustainable transportation.

Registration is required. Please cancel your registration if you are no longer able to attend.

Light appetizers and beverages will be available. Please carpool or take public transit if possible!

Green Business Lunch & Learn: Protecting Worker Health and Well-Being

Towards a Greener Future: Recycle Utah’s Vision for our Community

Recycle Utah invites you to a community presentation discussing plans inspired by a recently completed strategic study. Hear from Tim Loveday, Summit County’s Solid Waste Superintendent, Recycle Utah staff, and our friends from RRS (January 7th only). Together, we’ll discuss the roadmap for a more sustainable future for waste diversion and recycling in Summit County. The 1 hour presentation will include a Q&A.

January Green Drinks

Join Recycle Utah for January Green Drinks on January 14 from 6-8. We’ll be celebrating past Green Business Awards winners, learning about developments in the Green Business Program, and learning about what businesses are doing to be more sustainable.

The event will be held at Deer Valley Cafe. Drinks will be available for purchase. Light snacks will be provided. Please carpool if possible!
